good god
probably the closest cookie-icecream-sandwich i can get since Berkeley’s C.R.E.A.M.! :’(
OMG! Awesome! Except Ben & Jerry’s is AUD12 so I might use cheaper ice-cream :3 Even Connoisseur is cheaper XD And doesn’t that mean you have to finish the rest of the tub? :3 But super smart idea!

Favourite fast food restaurant in Hong Kong
Does Maxim count? Or is that more cha chaan teng style (at least that’s the food style lol) but it’s fast! Otherwise Yoshinoya :D That’s a Japanese rice bowl place, but during breakfast and afternoon tea time, they have udon (which I prefer!). That’s “fast food” right? LOL* The rice is also good, but I totally recommend the beef udon :D YUM!
Favourite ‘tea restaurant’ (cha chaan teng) in Hong Kong
Um… I don’t actually know what they are called. Cos the good ones are small, independent ones :3 But mostly they are good, and some are better for different things.
But the “commercial” “big branch” ones… I would choose Maxim! Love the breakfasts- especially the russian broscht macaroni, thick cut toast with butter (no crust) and drink! Oh don’t forget the ham and egg!! I know lots of places have it too, such as Cafe De Coral, but it was more convenient (I preferred) going there- no special reason I don’t think. I just liked it haha!
Top 5 Favourite Hong Kong Food/Snacks
In no particular order…
砵仔糕 (boot zai go)- the brown sugar type with less red beans
蛋白燉鮮奶- steamed egg whites with milk (prefer it to be from Australia Dairy Company in Jordan!)
雞蛋仔 (gaai daan zai)/格仔餅 (gaak zai beng)- the egg waffle puffs and the waffles (with peanut butter and condensed milk filling). They are sort of the same thing… not… LOL* At the place I buy them, I usually get both, also, buying two, can save money :P But they keep raising the price, last time I went 13HKD for one… before that was only HKD11/12!!
curry fish balls and stinky tofu
plained steamed rice noodles (腸粉 cheung fun) with sweet sauce, peanut sauce and spicy sauce :D YUM! and soy sauce of course! And a side of siu mai (燒賣) (the fish meat type you get at the hawker stalls) wiith soy sauce please!
I sort of cheated and put two foods and counted as one though :P And there’s still so many more food that I love. But these are mostly unique to Hong Kong :)
